Air Dice Group obtains license for iGaming in Ontario

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has granted certification to Air Dice Group, a company renowned for its online gambling credentials.

Air Dice Group, a company well known for its online gambling credentials, has obtained a certification from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Through this, the company will have the option of associating with other gambling companies in the province.

Ontario became the first province in Canada to authorize private participants to offer authorized online casino games and sports betting services to enthusiasts, a policy that went into effect in April 2022. After the implementation of the initiative, Ontario achieved the status of one of the top five providers in North America. During its inaugural year, the organization generated over CA$35.6 billion in revenue through online wagering.

Air Dice Group recently announced that AGCO has granted it a B2B gaming provider certification in recognition of the way in which it operates its iGaming business. The company is well-known for developing money games with a strategic bent.

Erkki Nikunen, partner and chief business officer at Air Dice, reports that the team has just returned from ICE London, where they experienced tremendous success, and is now pursuing certification in Ontario. During the year 2023, the operator launched a number of market initiatives and expansion strategies.

Nikunen asserts that the certification serves as evidence of the organization’s rigorous adherence to all regulations and policies pertaining to wagering operations. Ontario enthusiasts will now have their fill of games such as Wild Shifter, Gunslinger Legends: Flaming Bombs, Bounty Hunter, Fire Lion, and many more.

iGaming Ontario, an affiliate of AGCO, has revealed Ontario’s iGaming figures for the third quarter of fiscal 2023-24. From October 1st to December 31st, 2023, online wagers totaled around CA$17.2 billion. This was a 21% rise over the same period in 2022.

According to the data disclosed, operators and sites generated around CA$658 million in gaming-related revenue during the quarter, representing a 22% increase over the previous quarter. It also said that about 1.2 million player accounts were created in the third quarter. The monthly spend for each player was CA$186.

Booming Games entered the Ontario market in February 2024. The supplier is well-known for its online games, which include TNT Bonanza, Buffalo Hold and Win, Cash Pig, and many others.
