Octoplay secures supplier permit in Ontario for gaming expansion

Octoplay, a company engaged in developing online games, has successfully obtained the requisite accreditation from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

This will empower the organization to provide its highly coveted selection of slot machine games to both major and minor operators in the area.

Based on Canadian gaming news, this is a pivotal moment for Octoplay, which is also consistent with its strategy to expand its business. It is already known that it has acquired certification from the UK Gambling Commission, as well as the Malta Gaming Authority and the Swedish Gaming Authority.

The operators located in Ontario will have access to the sophisticated remote game server provided by Octoplay. By doing this, the operators will have the opportunity to add more games to the assortment that they now have from the supplier. Prominent titles will be participating, including Bullet Bonanza, Pearly Shores, and Lolicat.

According to the Legal Director at Octoplay, Martina Borg Stevens, they consider this to be a significant achievement, having successfully obtained four certifications in 2023. In her opinion, this will open the doors for them to venture within the North American markets and create their own space in the field of gaming content suppliers. To have reached this position within such a short time is indeed admirable. They are prepared for the growing expectations from the concerned operators.

The Commercial Director at Octoplay, Nick Vuchev, stated that the organization’s primary focus was obtaining the required certifications and strictly adhering to the established policies and guidelines despite its reputation for being an outstanding provider of exceptional content.

By securing Ontario as its most recent territory to conquer, the organization will effectively sustain its progress and augment its market presence within the iGaming sector.
